MunizO(external link) is made up of Taro, Jiro and Yuta — three guys who came to Toronto from Japan hoping to catch a break in the music scene. Despite a ton of drive and a lot of talent, it hasn't been an easy ride. They are always running on little money, lugging their equipment around and accidentally making roommates with cockroaches.
Busking at Yonge and Dundas Square has given them a sense of belonging when everything else feels a bit unfamiliar, and that's where filmmaker Qais Pasha(external link) noticed their super high-energy sound and impenetrable enthusiasm. In this video, he sits down with MunizO to find out about their dreams.
Check out MunizO at the Horseshoe Tavern(external link) in Toronto on December 13.
