'The craziest day'

Aaron Jimenez, a delivery driver for Loomis Express, said the whiteout conditions were the worst he's seen in the 10 years since moving to Winnipeg from the Philippines.

"This is the craziest day I've been driving," he said, adding highway officials told him a Highway 1 closure in Headingley likely wouldn't be lifted until later in the afternoon.
"I have to deliver stuff [to Elie, Oakville and Portage la Prairie], and now I'm late … Hopefully it will open soon."
Road conditions and traffic information are available on CBC Manitoba's Storm Centre page.
