Three storms in five days on P.E.I. have meant a difficult time for P.E.I.'s main electrical utility.
Like Sisyphus, doomed for eternity to roll a giant rock up a hill, only to have it roll back just before he reached the top, Maritime Electric fought to restore power to customers, only to have another storm knock out electricity to thousands more.
On five separate occasions this week there were more than 5,000 Maritime Electric customers without power.
As of Friday morning there were just a few hundred remaining. Maritime Electric reports these are small and individual outages, and it could be sometime during the weekend before all power is restored.
