A second year-round, off-leash dog park will open in Regina on Wednesday.
The fully fenced park is located in the city's east end at 624 Solomon Crescent. On-street parking will be available for people who choose to visit with their canine companions.
Hours for the park will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
While Regina has six other dog parks, only one of them is year-round. The Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Off-Leash Dog Park is located in west central Regina.
The city says other off-leash parks are planned in the city's south, east and north-northwest areas of the city.
In addition, the dog park will have its own Snapchat location filter for people to document their treasured moments.
