The first annual P.E.I. Spirits Festival will be uncorked at Confederation Centre of the Arts Nov. 26.
More than 100 spirits — rums, vodkas, bourbons, tequilas, whiskies — will be available to taste, 65 of which aren't sold regularly at P.E.I. liquor stores.
Trent Desroche, a product advisor with the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission, said people will be sample the spirits and learn more from company reps.
"There's some unique offerings from Scotland, like aged single malt scotches, like 25-year-old Laphroaig, I believe is in the show," said Desroche.
"There's some Canadian products in the show as well from Quebec, from Sortilège, and some Canadian whiskies, some small-batch copper-pot distilled whiskies, that sort of thing."

Taste or buy or both

There will also be an on-site boutique open from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. that day, where all the products will be available for sale. You do not require a ticket to shop.
The festival itself is from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tickets cost $76 before until the Nov. 21, and after that $86 each.
