Zhimin (Maggie) Liu, 32, was last seen on Sunday in the River Heights neighbourhood
Wearing gloves and hiking boots a group of people slowly walked by the riverbank in Winnipeg in search of answers and closure for a worried husband.
Members of the Bear Clan Patrol were out in full force on Saturday afternoon searching for missing Zhimin (Maggie) Liu. The 32-year-old woman has been missing from the River Heights neighbourhood since last weekend.
Liu's husband, Podge Dimagiba, put out a call earlier this week for help searching for his wife in and around the river.
"I work for Drag the Red and there was a callout," Kimberley Kostiuk, who is also a Bear Clan member, said.
"This is what I do; I'm a ground search trainer. So I figured I would do my part and come and help."

Kostiuk had been searching with three other people earlier in the week and said she was overwhelmed to see about 20 people turnout to help on Saturday.
"I'm happy that people are coming together to help this man find his wife. He needs closure just like everyone else," she said.
The group searched along the riverbank from the end of Wellington Crescent to Osborne Village while Kyle Kematch, with Drag the Red, searched the water in a canoe.
"I'm just hoping we will find her," Kostiuk said.
Liu is five-feet-tall, 120 pounds and has shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing a grey jacket, dark-coloured pants and dark shoes, police said.
Anyone with information about Liu's whereabouts is asked to call the Winnipeg Police Service's missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
