Two-vehicle collision involving six people leaves one dead, five in hospital
A 57-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Thompson, Man.
Around 11 a.m. on Friday, a car collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Mystery Lake Road and Thompson Drive South, police said in a Friday release.
The car was travelling south on Mystery Lake Road and hit the truck as the truck was turning left on the road at the intersection, which is controlled by lights.
One of the car's four occupants, a 57-year-old man from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, Man., died on the scene.

The other three occupants were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The two occupants of the pickup truck, a woman and a child, were also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
