Charlottetown school makes large peace sign to thank war veterans
A Charlottetown school honoured veterans in a creative way on Wednesday.
Students and staff at Birchwood Intermediate School formed a large peace sign at the Charlottetown Event Grounds.
Other events the school has planned this year to honour veterans include planting flowers at grave sites, writing to current members of the Canadian Forces, and visiting nursing homes.
