Shots fired in Overbrook and Hintonburg kept police busy overnight

No injuries reported, no arrests made in either case, police say
Shots fired in Overbrook and Hintonburg within a two-hour span kept Ottawa police busy in the central district overnight.
The first incident occurred at a home on the 400 block of Prince Albert Street, between Frances and Bernard streets in Overbrook, just before midnight, Ottawa police said in a news release.
There were people inside the home at the time but no one was injured, police said.
No arrests have been made.
Shots heard in Hintonburg
The second incident occurred in Hintonburg on the 1100 block of Somerset Street West, near Bayswater Avenue, just before 2 a.m. Friday.
Several people called 911 to report hearing shots fired.
No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.
The two cases are the 56th and 57th incidents of gun play in Ottawa so far in 2016.
