Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle in Leaside area

Victim was vital signs absent when Toronto police and paramedics arrived
A woman in her 60s has died after being struck by a vehicle in the Leaside area on Thursday night.
Toronto police said the woman was struck near Eglinton Avenue and Hanna Road around 7:25 p.m.
Paramedics found the woman without vital signs and rushed her to a nearby trauma centre. She was later pronounced dead.
Police said roads in the area have been closed for an investigation.
