Family of 6 escapes house fire

A family of six has been put out of their home following a fire Thursday afternoon in St. Peter's, P.E.I.
The Red Cross, which is helping the family with temporary lodging and other essentials, says there were no injuries in the fire.
The fire, which was in an older, two-storey house on Route 16, was reported at about 3 p.m.
