Flashback Friday: 13 years since Hurricane Juan ripped through P.E.I.

A look back to Sept. 29, 2003, when Hurricane Juan left its mark on the Island

The weather outside Thursday and Friday has been calm and sunny, but 13 years ago that certainly wasn't the case.
In the overnight hours of Sept. 29, 2003, Hurricane Juan blew through the Island with heavy rain and 140-km/h winds, snapping large trees, crushing barns and sinking boats.
