Tecumseh hit with record 150 mm rainfall

The Town of Tecumseh said it was hit with record rainfall levels Thursday with up to 150 millimetres of rain recorded.
Officials confirmed the downpour, which started Wednesday night, was the highest on record.
The Essex Region Conservation Authority earlier reported many parts of the region got hit with 65 millimetres of rain in about 12 hours.
Windsor and Tecumseh were hit particularly hard as people are experiencing severe flooding.
More rain is expected for the region with another 20-40 millimetres expected Thursday.
