Methamphetamine seizure in Charlottetown leads to 2 arrests

Police say they seized more than 1,000 methamphetamine pills

Two women from the Charlottetown area have been arrested for trafficking narcotics and possessing a prohibited weapon, say Charlottetown police.
The women — aged 33 and 29 — were arrested after police executed a search warrant for a house on Prince Street early Wednesday morning. Police said they seized more than 1,000 methamphetamine pills,some percocet, a quantity of cash and brass knuckles.
Both of the women are now in custody at the Provincial Correctional Centre, and scheduled to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
