One count of arson and two counts of mischief against 24-year-old
RCMP in West Prince have charged a 24-year-old O'Leary man in connection with a recent house fire.
The house fire was in the early morning hours of Sept. 23.
"We were called to a disturbance at a residence, and upon arriving at the scene we discovered that the residence in question was on fire," said RCMP Sgt. Darrell Gill.
The man also faces two mischief charges connected to complaints of damage to property in the West Prince area over the past couple of weeks. In one case a vehicle window was smashed, and in another a window in an outbuilding at an antique shop was broken.
The man is remanded in custody until a show cause hearing on Friday.
