A new provincial political party — the New Brunswick Spiritual Community Party — launched Monday in Moncton with the goal of putting God at the centre of political decision-making.
"God is omnipresent.," said party founder and sole member Jan Prieditis.
"Let's start stewarding our resources and our people accordingly."
Prieditis said he hopes to have candidates in 10 ridings by the next provincial election, in 2018.
Prieditis plans to recruit members through social media, spiritual bookstores, wellness expositions and places of worship.
