City parking spaces usurped for other purposes
There was a little less parking in downtown Charlottetown Friday, but people were putting the spaces to other uses.
It was Charlottetown's first Park(ing) Day. Two of the city's downtown parking spaces were taken over to demonstrate other ways the space could be used.
The idea is let people know what could be done with the space if people biked or took public transit into the downtown, and there weren't so many parking spaces needed.
