Canada to face U.S.A. in quarter finals
P.E.I. Paralympian Amy Burk scored all six of Canada's goals against Australia Tuesday, leading the goalball team to a 6-0 victory.
The Canadian team will face the Americans in the quarter finals Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. local time.
Canada finished the preliminary rounds with a 2-2 record.
Goalball is played by visually-impaired athletes, who wear blackout goggles during matches to ensure equality. The game is played by attempting to throw a ball into the other team's net.
