Dangerous offender Douglas Gordon Jenik released

Previously convicted of sexual assault, assault and harassment
Police are warning the public about the release of a man into the Calgary area this week who served a two-year sentence for sexual assault and committing an indecent public act.
Douglas Gordon Jenik, 47, was designated a dangerous offender during his sentencing.
He was previously convicted of sexual assault, assault, harassment and multiple driving offences.
"Monitoring of offenders on statutory release is the responsibility of Correctional Service Canada, however, in this case the (Calgary Police Service) has made the decision to also issue a public notification in the interest of public safety."
Jenik is 5'7" tall and approximately 150 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair, and he wears glasses.
