Oysters from Atlantic Shellfish Products recalled
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall notice for more P.E.I. oysters.
Like the recall from Five Star Shellfish two weeks ago, the recall of Atlantic Shellfish Products Inc brand oysters is also due to possible salmonella contamination. The recall is all for large boxes of Malpeque choice oysters, 80 to 140 count, processed and shipped on Aug. 30 or Sept. 2.
The product may have been purchased anywhere in Canada.
The recall was triggered by CFIA test results, and there have been no reported illnesses connected to the oysters.
