43-year-old woman charged with trafficking, possession of a dangerous weapon

The Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) has laid charges after a drug and weapons investigation.
Saskatoon police searched a home on the 200 block of Lochrie Crescent at around 11 p.m. CST Wednesday night. They found a handgun, bear spray, 10 grams of methamphetamine packaged for distribution and over $7,200 in cash.
Police charged a 43-year-old woman with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of the proceeds of crime and two charges of possession of a dangerous weapon.
She is expected to make her first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
Two other people were arrested but later released without charges.
