2 men killed in Highway 9 crash northeast of Calgary

Collision involved sedan, cube van and semi-truck

Two men were killed in a crash involving a sedan, large cube van and semi-truck northeast of Calgary Tuesday morning.
The collision happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Highway 9 and Townhship Road 270, about 10 kilometres south of Irricana, an EMS spokesman said.
Three ambulances from Airdrie responded to the scene.
Two men believed to be in their 30s, who were in the sedan, died at the scene.
A man in his 20s, who was in a large cube van, was taken to the Foothills hospital in Calgary with minor injuries.
Highway 9 remains closed while officials investigate the crash.
