'We were shocked when they grew up like that'
Even from the highway, you can't miss Joyce Stewart's sunflowers.
The flowers, which tower more than four metres over Stewart's garden, are prompting passers-by to stop and take a look.
"We were shocked when they grew up like that," Stewart said from her home in Spring Valley, P.E.I., near Kensington.
"I, most of the time, put a few in at the end of my garden every year, but these here ones they just went crazy."
Stewart said she didn't do anything different this year. She credits a good growing season.
