Montreal cyclist dies after collision with truck

Crash occurred at intersection of Iberville St. and Rosemont Blvd.

A cyclist has died after colliding with a truck earlier this afternoon in the Rosemont neighbourhood.
Montreal police said a 911 call came in around 2 p.m. reporting a crash at the intersection of Iberville Street and Rosemont Boulevard.
Const. Caroline Chèvrefils said the cyclist was a 24-year-old woman. She was declared dead at the scene.
A witness was treated for shock, according to Urgences-Santé.
The truck driver, a 45-year-old man, was not injured.
Traffic was blocked off in the area for a time for the investigation, but all roads have since reopened.
