New GO bus service between Cambridge, Milton starting Sept. 6

The new route will include four trips during peak morning and afternoon travel times

GO Transit has announced a new bus service will go between Cambridge and Milton on weekday mornings during peak travel times.
Route 24(external link) will begin Sept. 6.
Morning trips will leave the Cambridge bus terminal at 5:44 a.m., 6:09 a.m., 6:37 a.m. and 7:16 a.m., and there will be stops at Hespeler Road at Pinebush Road and Regional Road 25 at Highway 401 before going to Milton where commuters can connect with the train or bus.

The new route will have six return trips from Milton to Cambridge.
There will be two early afternoon buses – one that leaves Milton at 1:45 p.m. and arrives at 2:45 p.m. The other leaves at 3:05 p.m., arriving at 4:15 p.m.
There will be four peak-time trips leaving Milton at 4:10 p.m., 5:09 p.m., 6:24 p.m., and 7:24 p.m. - these buses will arrive at the Cambridge Bus Terminal about an hour later.
Then two later trips will leave Milton at 8:09 p.m., arriving in Cambridge at 9:02 p.m., and the last bus leaves Milton at 10 p.m., arriving in Cambridge at 10:50 p.m.
There will be no bus service on weekends.
