Ross, 44, was last seen at a home in Tompkins, Sask., on Sunday
The RCMP is asking for the public's help finding a man who was last seen nearly a week ago in Tompkins, Sask.
John Malcolm Ross was last seen at a home in the area Sunday.
Police say a vehicle associated with Ross was found in the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park near Kyle, Sask., the next day. His family also reported him missing that day.
Ross is from Stonewall, Man., but had been living in Tompkins for about a month with family members.
RCMP have been focusing their search efforts in the park area so far.
"We've had RCMP members from several detachments out looking both on land and on the water," said RCMP Sgt. Scott Hunter. "We have an RCMP boat cruising the shore and we've had divers looking in some areas looking for possible clues."
Hunter said all possibilities are being investigated in the disappearance.
The 44-year-old is five-foot-three-inches tall, weighs 250 pounds, and has hazel eyes and short brown hair that is balding on top. His moustache and goatee are greying. He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt and black shorts, RCMP said.
Anyone with information on Ross's whereabouts is asked to contact the Kyle RCMP detachment at 306-375-5510.
