Old Triangle retains its dining room licence
The P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge liquor licence for the Old Triangle in downtown Charlottetown.
The licence suspension started at 9 a.m. Thursday and will end Sunday at 9 a.m.
In a news release, the commission said the suspension was for serving alcohol to a person under the age of 19.
Dining room may continue to serve alcohol
The suspension does not affect the operation of the dining room.
The Old Triangle may serve alcoholic beverages along with a meal.
Certain areas of the Old Triangle were licensed under the lounge licence only: the Pour House, the seats at the bar, and the patio. No alcohol can be served in these areas during the suspension.
