Winnipeg police have yet to notify woman's next of kin

A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle on Jefferson Avenue at Watson Street in Winnipeg Monday afternoon.

She was brought to hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries, said Winnipeg police.
Police were called to The Maples-area crash around 12:20 p.m.
A pair of smashed eyeglasses and a pair of shoes were seen on scene.
Police said they have yet to notify the woman's next of kin.
Witnesses with information regarding the incident are asked to contact Winnipeg police's central traffic division at 204-986-6271.
