Cochrane RCMP say they've charged a 53-year-old man with unsafe storage of a firearm after his .357 revolver and 25 rounds of ammunition were stolen from the centre console of his unlocked vehicle.
The man came to the Cochrane RCMP detachment on Sunday to report the handgun had been stolen once he realized it was missing from his vehicle, police said.
