Windsor housing prices continue to soar

Housing sales in Windsor and Essex County rose again slightly in July as prices continue to soar.
A total of 634 homes sold throughout the region last month, which is up slightly from the same month in 2015 when 628 homes sold, according to the latest numbers from the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Total figures for the first seven months of 2016 are up from last year as well. As of the end of July, 5,816 homes had sold, compared with the 5,683 homes that sold to that point last year.
Sale prices also continue to climb. The average sale price for July sat at $233,948, compared with $206,201 for the same month last year.
The Windsor region has been a hot market this year with sales and prices rising every month.
