A north Edmonton cinema has reopened two of its theatres after investigating a report of bedbugs allegedly captured on a video that has been widely shared on social media.
Edmontonian Priscilla Bolan posted the video to Facebook on Friday. The short video, which shows a bug crawling on a movie theatre seat, has since been viewed more than 345,000 times.

Cineplex Entertainment said its third party inspector found "no activity present" after it shut down two of its 12 auditoriums at Cinema City Movies 12 to investigate.
Spokesperson Sarah Van Lange said a guest spoke to the theatre manager about her concerns before posting the video. She said the inspection took place the same evening.
"In an abundance of caution, we made the decision to close it for the weekend and have it treated," said Van Lange.
She said ongoing maintenance programs that include regular inspections are in place for all Cineplex movie theatres.
CBC News has requested comment from Bolan but has not heard back.
