Women's U21 softball nationals kick off in Summerside

City of Summerside hoping for economic boost
The 2016 U21 Women's Canadian Championship began this week in Summerside.
The five-day championship will see 9 teams from across the country competing.
The events runs until August 7.
Summerside also hosted the 2015 U21 Women's Canadian Championship. According to an economic impact analysis conducted by the city, that event brought in $750,000 in economic activity.
