Canadian a cappella group The Nylons kick off the 2016-17 series
Fans will get a chance to see the Canadian a cappella group The Nylons one last time as part of the Confederation Centre's Sobey's LIVE @ the Centre concert series.
The Nylons' farewell tour kicks off the 2016-17 season on Oct. 14.
The following evening Tanya Tagaq of Cambridge Bay, Nun., is scheduled to perform her infusion of traditional Inuit throat singing with electronica.
Other scheduled acts include:
- Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy (Oct. 18).
- Violinist James Ehnes (Nov. 2).
- Siblings Jill and Matthew Barber (Nov. 18).
- The Vienna Boys Choir (March 17).
The concert series wraps up on April 25 with a live performance of the CBC show This is That.
Tickets for all shows go on sale July 29. More information can be found on the Confederation Centre's website.
