Police arrive later to make arrest
A man who spotted someone going through his vehicle early Wednesday morning decided to take matters into his own hands, say Charlottetown police.
The man and a relative started chasing the alleged thief while another person in the home called 911.
The two caught up with the suspect on Mount Edward Road, at which point police arrived and made the arrest.
Police reported a 32-year-old Charlottetown man, who was known to them, was arrested for theft.
