EMS treated and released 3 patients with minor injuries southwest of Sundre
Three people have been treated for minor injuries and released after an incident involving a helicopter in southern Alberta Sunday afternoon, paramedics tell CBC News.
EMS said there were reports of a helicopter forced to perform a hard landing just before 2 p.m. west of the Mountain-Aire Lodge near Highway 734, which is southwest of Sundre.
Three people had also been seen waving by a plane flying overhead.
RCMP said the helicopter's emergency locating transmitter sent a signal around 1:30 p.m.
There were initial reports the incident happened near Ice Lake.
RCMP, EMS, fire crews and STARS air ambulance attended.
