Little is known at this time, but more than 1 person is currently in custody
Calgary police say they have people in custody in connection with a "significant organized crime operation."
Several people were taken into custody Tuesday morning in what Calgary police are calling Operation Hydra.
Police say multiple murder charges are pending.
CBC News has learned the case is connected to the death of Jason Antonio, who was killed in 2014 and was an accused in Calgary's largest meth bust.
Two of the men currently being questioned have lengthy criminal records.
The operation was conducted by Calgary police, federal Crown and organized crime prosecutors and U.S. authorities.
More details are expected to be released on Wednesday.
