Libu George says he wants to help his family and take his wife to France
A Calgary man has won just over $9 million in a 6/49 lottery draw earlier this month.
"I was so shocked that I couldn't breathe," said Libu George.
George checked his ticket's numbers online and they matched.
He won $9,383,662.50 in the draw made on Wednesday, July 6.
"We want to help our family and the less fortunate where we can," said George.
He says he also wants to take his wife to France.
"We have talked about it for some time, so now is the time to go," he said.
