Halifax taxi driver accused of sexually assaulting woman

Woman offers description of driver police are seeking over 4 a.m. incident

A Halifax woman says she was sexually assaulted by a cab driver in Dartmouth early Sunday.
The 22-year-old woman hailed a van with a taxi roof light on at about 4 a.m. Sunday near Salter Street.
The woman told police the man drove her to Leaman Drive and let her out. He then touched her in a sexual manner over her clothes.
The man is described as a soft-spoken Middle Easterner standing about five-foot-eight-inches with a thin build, black hair, a scruffy beard and a big nose.
