'Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy,' says Emmy-nominated actor
Hiddleswift is not a stunt, according to one-half of the headline-grabbing pop culture couple of the moment.
Tom Hiddleston, freshly nominated for an Emmy Award for his leading role in the critically acclaimed AMC miniseries The Night Manager, addressed rumours about his personal life during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday.
"Well, um. How best to put this?" Hiddleston, chuckling, told the industry publication.
"The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking."
Later, he reiterated: "That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."
This summer has been eventful for the British actor, who was also one of the executive producers of The Night Manager alongside co-star Hugh Laurie.
The Eton-educated actor has been making international headlines and populating the tabloids for his somewhat unlikely whirlwind relationship with the Grammy-winning American pop star, which some have speculated as being a publicity stunt.
He's currently in Australia filming Thor: Ragnarok with Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.
