The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating after a worker suffered an electric shock at the Albert Street LRT construction site Thursday morning.
Ottawa paramedics say the 34-year-old man's ankle came into contact with a wire either in the tunnel or near the entrance.
Paramedics spokesman François Côté said it doesn't look like the worker was doing any electrical work at the time of the accident.
The worker was in stable condition when he arrived at the hospital, according to first responders.
