Justice the dog has taken quite nicely to his new family.
The animal that was found bound in electrical tape and abandoned behind a shopping centre on Walker Road last year has spent the last few weeks with a foster family.
Officials at the Windsor Essex County Humane Society wanted to see how well Justice would adapt to his new home before making the adoption permanent.
"His new family was touched by Justice's story, but also knows that he's still 'a regular dog' who needs to be able to get on with his life," the humane society wrote in a news release.
