What's it like to be the girl who does the impossibly stupid — like going into the dark basement to investigate that noise — in a horror movie?

​Jenna Warriner and Daniel Abrahamson's one-woman musical provides an entertaining, if not quite wholly satisfying, answer.

Left behind while her pals escape a zombie apocalypse, our hapless and clueless heroine hides out in a storage locker with only her cellphone and selfie stick for company.

With energetic tunes and witty lyrics ("If anyone's seeing this, you'll know I survived/This sh—y cellphone video's proof I'm alive!"), there's lots of fun to be had here. And Warriner's got a great comedic presence, not to mention a powerful voice.

But with not much really happening over the brief 40 minute show, the gag starts to feel a little one-note. And what should be a "girl power" ending feels a bit rushed.

It's apparently a developing work, and I'd love to see a more fleshed-out version.

What's here, though, is an awfully fun start.
