Small ideas are the big theme in this contemporary dance show for youngsters.
Dancers Ali Robson and Natasha Torres-Garner wrestle with, and share, their ideas — represented by everything from a small ball to streamers to a giant balloon.
It's athletic, energetic dance, and it clearly looks like Robson and Torres-Garner, accompanied by musician Ashley Au, are having fun onstage.
For young Fringers, this may be a charming introduction to modern dance. - Joff Schmidt
And the few kids in the audience at the performance I saw looked like they were intrigued by what was going on onstage. They also had a blast with the show's interactive finale — the kind of invitation to participate in the fun I wish this show had more of.
It may move a bit too slowly at points, and not be interactive enough, for more fidgety young Fringers. But for others, this could be a charming introduction to modern dance.
