The first ever Pride Masquerade Prom will be held July 30 as part of the P.E.I. Pride Festival.
It's billed as "an opportunity for all of those in the LGBTQ+ community to relive their prom 'out'" as well as "celebrate and dance with other members of the community and our allies."
The prom will be held at Red Shores Race Track and Casino. It fits with this year's theme of Pride: Then. Now. Always.
The 22nd annual festival kicks off July 24 with a church service at Trinity United Churches in Charlottetown and Summerside.
