A possible hate crime is being investigated by Windsor police after vandals slashed up an SUV, scarring it with an offensive anti-Arabic message.
Police said a white Range Rover in the 2300 block of Longfellow Avenue was severely damaged with gouges and scratches to both the interior and exterior.
The incident occurred in the early morning of Canada Day, some time between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m.
