Windsor housing sales continue to top last year's levels

The latest figures show sales were up 20 per cent in June, compared to the same month last year

Housing sales remain scorching hot in the Windsor region, according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
The latest figures show sales were up 20 per cent in June, compared to the same month last year.
With the region in the midst of a seller's market, home buyers are paying much more this year than they did last year. The average price for a house sat at $231,880 in June, up 16 per cent, compared to the same month last year.
Similar figures have been seen every month in 2016. Sales in May jumped 18 per cent, when compared to the same month last year with the average sale prices around $235,000.
