1 dead, 2 injured in Memorial Drive crash

Police are investigating the cause of the collision, which killed a woman in her 30s
One woman is dead and two others are injured after a single-vehicle crash in the 500-block of Memorial Drive N.W. on Saturday morning.
The car lost control and struck the centre median before hitting a tree.
According to first responders, "it was initially unclear" how many people were in the vehicle.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the rear passenger, a woman in her 30s, required extrication from the car and was taken to hospital in potentially life-threatening condition.
The third occupant, also a woman in her 30s, was seated in the front passenger seat and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Calgary police are investigating the cause of the accident.
