Severe thunderstorm watch issued for parts of southwest Sask.

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for areas near Leader and Gull Lake, Sask.
According to Environment Canada, Saturday morning conditions near Leader and Gull Lake, Sask. could lead to severe thunderstorms involving strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
A few thunderstorms crossed the border from Alberta into Saskatchewan before the watch was issued.
The weather agency suggests to stay indoors when thunderstorms strike.
