Loui Eriksson signs with the Vancouver Canucks

Eriksson, 31, reportedly agreed to a six year contract worth $36M, Hamhuis to Dallas, Lucic to Edmonton
The Vancouver Canucks have signed free agent forward Loui Eriksson.
Eriksson, 31, scored 30 goals and 33 assists in 82 games with the Boston Bruins last season.
According to reports, Eriksson's deal with the Canucks is worth $36 million over a six year term.
The Swedish native is expected to line up with the Sedin twins on Vancouver's top line.
The Canucks also said goodbye to longtime defenceman Dan Hamhuis, 33, who agreed to a two-year, $7.5 million contract with the Dallas Stars.
The Smithers, B.C. native played six season with Vancouver and was a member of the Canada's gold medal winning hockey team at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.
Meanwhile Vancouver native Milan Lucic has been signed by the Edmonton Oilers, agreeing to a reported seven year contract worth $42 million.
Troy Brower, also a Vancouver native, signed a four year, $18 million deal with the Calgary Flames.
Maple Ridge's Andrew Ladd agreed to terms with the New York Islanders, signing a seven year deal worth $5.5 million per season.
