Man taken to Prince County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries
A car and a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash Monday afternoon in New Annan, P.E.I., say East Prince RCMP.
Preliminary investigation indicates a car travelling east on Route 2 crossed the centre line into the path of a westbound tractor-trailer truck that was slowing down to make a left turn, police said in a written release Tuesday.
The driver and only person in the car, a 90-year-old man, was taken to Prince County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 60-year-old man, was not injured.
